The Planet Venus and Moon Nymph (1883)
by Luis Ricardo Falero

The Astronomer by Candlelight by Gerrit Dou, Dutch painter.

Greek hairnet from Egypt bearing a bust of Aphrodite and her son Eros. The crossed chains are decorated with Dionysiac masks. The decoration style appears to be connected to the Ptolemies, and the face of the bust resembles Queen Arsinoe III of Egypt.
Gold, garnet, glass paste; 220-100 BC

Representation of Odin, and his ravens, Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory). 9th-10th century AD. This may have been a fire striker.

The Gundestrup cauldron is a richly decorated silver vessel, thought to date from between 200 BC and 300 AD, found in Denmark. It includes elements of Gaulish and Thracian origin in the workmanship, metallurgy, and imagery

The Hostage (1912) - Edward Blair Leighton, British painter

An ivory female anatomical figure from Germany, 1601-1700. The lack of detail means it's unlikely that it was used for medical teaching, but was possibly used to teach young couples about anatomy and pregnancy.
